A group of Nigerian and foreign banks led by Access Bank PLC have taken over the management of Etisalat Nigeria following a collapse of efforts to reach an agreement with the banks on debt restructuring plan in the protracted $1,72 billion debt impasse.

$450m lost to cyber crime in Nigeria – Senate

The Senate, yesterday, said Nigeria has lost about $450 million to 3,500 cyber attacks on its Information and Communication Technology, ICT, space. According to the Senate, this represents over 70 per cent of hacking attempts on technology in the country.

FED GOVT. COMMITTEE VISITS ENUGU TO ASSESS ICT VARSITY

Ahead of the take-off of the Federal Government proposed University of Information Computer Technology (ICT) members of its implementation committee on Tuesday paid an assessment visit to the Digital Bridge Institute Enugu, designated as one of the campuses of the university. The proposed ICT University will be a multi-campus institution of the present Digital Bridge Institute (DBI) of the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) as located in Abuja, Lagos, Enugu, Kano, Asaba and Yola.
